Villa San Juliette Chorum 2012

By Steve Drexler

The term Chorum is used in the performing arts to denote the “coming together of a select group of voices,” and this blend exemplifies this essence. Approximately 64 percent Roussanne, 12 percent Grenache Blanc, 12 percent Sauvignon Blanc, 9 percent Pinot Grigio and 3 percent Albariño, this is a special white wine that is expressive, fruit-driven and well balanced.

The brainchild of Ken Warwick and Nigel Lythgoe, childhood friends and producers of some of television’s hottest programs, at $22, Villa San Juliette's 2012 Chorum delivered a wonderful experience that would pair well with an array of food with a bit of heat, or stands up nicely on its own.
