The Secret Room Red Carpet Style and Beauty Lounge was buzzing this year at the private west-side hotel location as Hollywood's finest talent, nominees, producers and directors were gifted new and exciting products.

The Red Carpet Style and Beauty Lounge benefits the non-profit organization Omics LIVE; a non-profit student career exploration program which customizes live and remote internship experiences related to relevant fields and professions in fashion, entertainment, music, lifestyle journalism, e-commerce, website development, retail, product development, event & show production, graphic arts, communication and philanthropy.

This year guests were introduced to new exciting beauty products from Fake Bake, Dermesse and a local West Los Angeles dermatologist line of products, Arielle. Color Pop gifted hot pink and shimmer color make-up and Cailyn Cosmetics gifted a new matte shade lip gloss.

Fellow Canadians gifted products from Vancouver’s Dam Good Soap; and from Toronto, the launch of new youth enhancing skin vitamin product "Age Off,” as well as companion product, the instant skin-tightening face cream 90-Second Facelift from NuvoCare Health Sciences.

Guests also enjoyed their choice of fashionable sunglasses from Reptile Eyewear, fresh scented candles from the Island Trading Company, Social Butterfly custom invitations, children's sunscreen protected swimwear by Rashoodz, Petzi (a pet camera to keep an eye on your loved one while your out), and handmade jewelry with a special authentic silver by retired high school teacher and talented artisan Jan Peyser.

Special guests and celebrities were also gifted ultra-exclusive 5 star vacation packages to the Shelbourne Wyndham Grand South Beach Miami, Secrets Vallarta Bay Puerto Vallarta Mexico and Dreams Las Mareas Costa Rica.

The French have been over Valentine's Day for decades. Mostly. Luke’s Lobster is reminding them that romance still has a chance. I mean, if you think about it, scrambling for a last-minute table at that "oh so hot" destination invariably means you'll be disappointed. Then it begins - the downward spiral of quasi-poor prix-fixe missing the mark. Let's be honest - EVERYONE'S bar is raised for Valentine's Day, but dining out has left lots of lovebirds feeling uninspired and not all that special.
