Natalia Sosnina and Manuel Rojas Dominate America’s Best Showcase
By Doug Singer
Due to the incredible popularity of “Dancing with the Stars”, the sport dance industry in America has become a highly competitive and desirable type of exercise. There are a plethora of showcases, competitions and workshops going on everyday throughout the country. Especially now, being the season of ballroom dance championships, where various couples have a chance to roll out “new-look” dances at domestic championships.
It seems that there is a continual contest going on to devise the oddest format for a ballroom dance tournament. Over the next few months, the best American couples will present the various candidates for this year’s award for the title of champions.
The conventional judging system is very complex and unpredictable. There are various parameters characterizing the best dancers -- musicality, rhythm, style, lines, etc. The general public is unqualified to gauge who is the best, only high quality rank judges are able to determine who deserve the titles.
Recently among the various local showcases, Natalia Sosnina and Manuel Rojas again became the stars on the Open Event at Raphael Parquet Hall in Long Island, New York. Natalia and Manuel almost immediately became the favorites of the public and judges for their unique style, flexibility and amazing choreography. Their natural ability and rigorous technical training provide them with a solid base for outstanding performances and teaching skills. They both are currently teaching at “You Should Be Dancing” studio in New York City. Their remarkable talent, determination and ability to focus have led them to numerous championships all over the world. They are extraordinary talented ballroom dancers who have achieved impressive international success in the world of ballroom dancing which was proven one again as America’s Best Showcase winners.
