Following last year’s success, Nat Sherman, Tobacconist to the World, returned to Brooklyn. Friday, May 16th, Nat Sherman  launched it’s second annual summer pop-up shop at Cacao Prieto, home of the Widow Jane Whiskey distillery and organic chocolate factory. Nat Sherman also kicked-off an exclusive partnership with neighboring specialty cocktail lounge, Botanica, creating a one-of-a-kind experience for Red Hook locals and visitors alike.
Located at 218 Conover Street (at Coffey Street), the pop-up shop is showcasing  the full Nat Sherman Premium Cigar Portfolio including the award-winning Timeless Collection, and the company’s latest launches including The Nat Sherman 1930, The Nat Sherman Sterling and Epoca.

“We are looking forward to returning to Red Hook for another great partnership with our friends at Widow Jane and Cacao Prieto this summer, and welcoming back our local fans and visitors to the Nat Sherman experience,” said Michael Herklots, Nat Sherman's vice president of retail and brand development, in a statement.

On a warm, gorgeous Friday evening in Red Hook, I was excited to attend one of the Nat Sherman Pop Up events. It was a perfect setting  to smoke a few fabulous cigars and sip on some fantastic cocktails.

The pop-up shop is opened from noon to 10 p.m. on Tuesdays to Sundays.

The French have been over Valentine's Day for decades. Mostly. Luke’s Lobster is reminding them that romance still has a chance. I mean, if you think about it, scrambling for a last-minute table at that "oh so hot" destination invariably means you'll be disappointed. Then it begins - the downward spiral of quasi-poor prix-fixe missing the mark. Let's be honest - EVERYONE'S bar is raised for Valentine's Day, but dining out has left lots of lovebirds feeling uninspired and not all that special.
