Presented by Madison Square Park Conservancy and UrbanSpace, Mad. Sq. Eats brings together a wide array diverse flavors created amidst some of the city’s best restaurants and culinary entrepreneurs. Set up as a bi-annual event at Worth Square, a prime location in the heart of New York’s historic Flatiron District, some of the city’s hottest and most cutting-edge food vendors offer up their creations to the delight of many. This highly anticipated neighborhood staple draws hungry crowds of local residents, workers, and tourists who enjoy this unique opportunity to savor a wide array of offerings from buzz-worthy eateries.

Amongst my favorites this season are the drippy grilled cheese sandwiches at Meltkraft (by no means your average grilled cheese), the Lobster Roll at Red Hook Lobster Pound, the Truffle Cheese Steak Sandwich at The Truffleist, and the Ice Cream Sandwich (sweet corn ice cream wedged between two blueberry muffin cookies) at Melt Ice Cream Sandwiches. And that is just the beginning. Grab a friend, officemate, or anyone with an appetite and head down to Worth Square for Mad. Sq. Eats—now. You will not be disappointed.
