I’m Not Here, I’m Really On Holiday In Tuscany

Only two women as educated and well-traveled as the famed Cabot sisters could launch a marketing campaign as strong as that of Not Soap, Radio. Laura and Suzanne Cabot have successfully created a line of products to make any girl feel pampered- but only in the trendiest sense of the word.
Of all of the temptations that the brand has to offer, I chose the “I’m Not Here, I’m Really On Holiday In Tuscany” collection. Partially because I liked the fresh citrus scent, and partially because as someone that has been on holiday in Tuscany, I would be lying to say that I wasn’t skeptical of a product’s ability to bring me back there, especially after a long dreary day in rainy NYC.

Since Mom probably won’t be taking that Tuscan vacation this year (between the economic recession and the threat of a certain Icelandic volcano), treat her to the next best thing this Mother’s Day. Not only will these products make you feel like a Botticelli goddess, they will last a whole lot longer than the line at the Uffizi and the 3 cannolis you eat on the way in.

The collection, which includes Exfoliating Sugared Body Polish, Body Soufflé, Whipped Body Lotion, and Dry Oil Body Spray (which doubles as a lovely room spray), is infused with tangerine, clementine, neroli, bergamot, lime, sweet tea leaves, and a mist of olive oil. The tangerine gives off the fresh scent of a warm summer day in the Italian countryside, while the olive oil leaves skin silky without even a hint of greasiness. My personal favorite is the Body Polish, which with
