Anastasia Products from the Balkans to Beverly Hills

Anastasia Soare has made quite a name for herself with the Beverly Hills jet set with her brow and cosmetic line, and now her moisturizers sourced from the Balkans are starting to make some noise. After trying out her new Sheer Moisture Cream SPF30, let me tell you this is a godsend for those of us cursed with dry skin.
The added sunscreen protection is a vital bonus, and this stuff is so smooth, it does not leave a heavy residual like many others on the market. This is because it doesn’t contain titanium dioxide, a chemical that feels sticky on the skin, which makes it hard for non-white types to wear sun screens.
It works for all skin types and includes the ubiquitous hyaluronic acid, a natural skin type that is capable of retaining up to 1,000 times its weight in water. Also included are antioxidants, and natural oils. It is also Paraben Free, Hypo-allergenic, and Non Comedogenic. Delving closely into the ingredients one notices the unfamiliar Squalene, a colorless, odorless and greaseless oil derived from olives that penetrates deeply into the skin that help with the absorption of the other ingredients.
I also like the packaging for this product a lot. The airless jar ensures that the cream remains uncontaminated, and that the shelf life is longer. Inside the container is a disc that easily pushes the product to the top with just a mild push on the top. Try this, and you will see what I mean.
Also new from Anastasia is the Blue Lotus Mist ($26) designed to give the skin an instant burst of radiance. It contains flower extracts from South Africa, as well as Anastasia’s Balkan Botanical Infusion, a combination of plant and herb extracts only found in the mineral rich soil of Romania. Asian women have been aware of the benefits of blue lotus for over 5,000 years, and the calming essence detoxifies the skin.
Sold exclusively at Nordstrom’s, the cream retails for $40 and celebrities onboard already for the ride include such classic beauties as Charlize Theron, Jennifer Lopez, Heidi Klum, Sienna Miller, Kim Kardashian and Megan Fox.
The Line Erasing Serum ($45) contains natural hydrators, Instalift Goji and the exclusive and secret Balkan infusion. Just a few of these ingredients used in the mix are Marshmallow Leaf, Lemon Balm Leaf, Bilberry and Green Tea.
