Alzerina Gomes appears to be hitting critical mass. After an incredibly successful run of trunk shows at the world famous Warren Tricomi Salon at the Plaza Hotel, Alzerina is growing in leaps and bounds. This Cape Verde born designing dynamo is one that should be on the radar of every fashion house. Chic and casually elegant pieces that can be worn any time of the day, dressed up or down, worn with jeans or gowns; this is jewelry for real life.

Designing since she was four years old, even at that age, Alzerina knew there were bigger things waiting for her. After relocating to Paris, she made the acquaintance of one of the directors of Daniel Swarovski. Taken under their wing, much of Alzerina’s inspiration comes from the beauty of Swarovski crystals.













that could only come from the mind of an innovator. This is supported by the fact that Swarovski has created new colors to keep up with the unbridled spirit of this artist. Alzerina is carving a new trend and rightfully
grabbing the attention of some serious players in the industry. From Cape Verde, to Paris, to New York, Alzerina is gaining a loyal fan base and rightfully finding her place in the fashion world.  
It was inspiring to watch the sophisticated clientele of Warren Tricomi salon respond to Alzerina’s work. With tentative plans to have a permanent retail installation in a prestigious Madison Avenue location, Alzerina certainly seems to be hitting her stride. What impressed me the most was upon coming back for the second show, the collection was completely different. I had no idea that her body of work had so much depth.
